What does Reichweite+ mean?
Reichweite+ is our channel manager and offers you in cooperation with Airbnb, Booking.com, HomeAway (FeWo-direkt) and Secra the possibility to make your accommodations easily and without additional effort and additional costs findable and bookable on more than 30 different booking portals!

To use Reichweite+, you don't have to register with our partner sites, as is common with other channel managers - we do that for you. As soon as you register for Reichweite+, your accommodations will be transferred directly to our partners without any additional effort.

Due to the significant increase in reach, you will reach a lot more potential guests. Thereby you increase the occupancy of your accommodations also in the low season.
How much will it cost me to transfer my accommodations through Reichweite+?
With Reichweite+ you pay no fixed monthly costs. We work here with a commission model: per successful online booking we charge you 10% on the online booking turnover (gross rental turnover including additional services plus applicable VAT).
Why do the prices for my accommodation on the partner sites differ from my prices set in the landlord login?
A commission charged by the Reichweite+ partner accrues per successful booking. To compensate this commission, we transfer your accommodation prices, surcharges and additional services including a surcharge (partner surcharge) to the respective partner. Your prices will therefore be shown higher on the partner pages than you have set in the landlord login. However, the partner surcharge is transferred 1:1 to the reach+ partner, so that you do not incur any additional costs for a booking.

What is the partner surcharge?
A commission charged by the Reichweite+ partner accrues per successful booking. What is the service fee?
When displaying your accommodations on Travanto, an automatic price surcharge of 14% (service fee) will be charged on your prices set in the landlord login. The service fee is paid exclusively by the guest. There are no additional costs for you, as the commission to Travanto is always calculated on the booking total that is not added - i.e. on the prices you set in your landlord login.
Why is my accommodation not transferred?
If you have registered for Reichweite+, your accommodations are generally transferred directly to our partner sites without you having to take any further action. Nevertheless, it may happen in exceptional cases that your accommodations do not appear on the partner sites:

If you have just completed your registration for Reichweite+, it may take up to a week before your accommodations are visible and bookable on the partner sites, as they also have to go through various quality checks on partner sites.

In addition, each partner has certain minimum requirements and quality standards that your accommodations must meet in order to be published on the respective booking portals. You can find out which requirements must be met per partner on our info pages:

On your personal Richweite+ status page you can view the status of your accommodations on the respective partner sites at any time. There you will also find reasons why your accommodations may not be online with the respective partner at the moment including recommendations for action.
Why do different cancellation policies apply to bookings via Airbnb and Booking.com?
In general, we strive to present the same cancellation policies that apply on Travanto on our partner sites, so that uniform rules apply across all booking portals.

However, Airbnb and Booking.com do not allow you to set your own cancellation policy. Rather, a regulation must be selected from a list of already predefined cancellation conditions. Therefore, we have chosen the terms that we believe most closely reflect the cancellation policy on Travanto.

Why don't I get all the guest data when booking through Airbnb?
Generally, guests booking through Travanto or our partner sites must provide a home address, a phone number and a valid email address. We will forward this data to you immediately after successful receipt of the deposit.

However, due to Airbnb internal regulations, only the guest name, phone number and an encrypted email address generated by Airbnb will be transmitted to us when bookings are made via Airbnb. A transmission of the guest's home address is rejected by Airbnb.
Why do I receive an encrypted guest email address when booking through Airbnb and Booking.com?
Due to internal policies at Airbnb and Booking.com, we never receive the original email addresses of guests. We only receive an encrypted email address generated by Airbnb or Booking.com, but you can easily communicate with your guest.
Why do I receive a payout for a booking through Airbnb only after the guest has arrived?
In contrast to other Reichweite+ partners, Airbnb takes over the complete payment processing with the guest and thus also reimburses the booking amount in the event of cancellation (minus the cancellation fees). In order to minimize advance payments by Airbnb and to maintain a fast payment flow, the booking amount is forwarded from Airbnb to Travanto 24 hours after the guest's arrival. Once we receive the payment, we will forward it to you immediately, minus our commission.

Please note that a booking via Airbnb can only be made if the guest pays directly. So there will be no arrival where the guest has not already paid the booking amount.
Why are my optional additional services not displayed as optional on the partner pages?
Most of our Reichweite+ partner sites do not support optional additional services (e.g. laundry package) for which prices are stored.

However, since optional additional services are often part of the pricing of accommodations, we have developed alternatives that make it possible to transfer certain information after all:

Thus, for example, laundry packages that can be optionally added according to your settings are transferred to the Reichweite+ partner as a binding additional service and are therefore included in every booking.

However, we currently have to exclude some optional additional services completely from the transfer:

For example, if you should charge additional fees for pets brought along, this cannot be represented for some Reichweite+ partners. Only a free of charge pet transfer is possible here. To avoid later complications for you and the guest, we transfer in these cases that pets are not allowed.

Why are my pet settings displayed differently for Reichweite+ partners?
At Travanto you can choose between many different options regarding your pet regulations. Unfortunately, these settings are not always transferable 1:1 to our Reichweite+ partners, as there is usually only the choice between pets allowed/not allowed/on request. Here we have tried to select the best possible option for you.

Why aren't all the features I selected displayed with the Reichweite+ partners?
Each Reichweite+ partner defines its own fixed features, which may differ from those at Travanto. Thus, it may happen that a feature can be selected at Travanto, which does not exist at a Reichweite+ partner and vice versa.

Of course, we want your accommodations to be described as well as possible on the partner pages and no information is missing. Therefore, we regularly check whether the list of amenities on our partner sites has been expanded and more transmission is possible.
Why does a different description text of my accommodation appear in my listing on Booking.com?
Booking.com automatically writes a description text of your accommodation optimized for search engines (e.g. Google) based on the features and location of your accommodation. This text is displayed immediately below the photos in your listing on Booking.com.

We have only limited influence on this text and cannot edit or remove it. However, if you notice any inconsistency in the text, please feel free to contact us so that we can request an appropriate change from Booking.com.

Your texts written at Travanto will additionally be displayed further down in the listing.
How can I find my accommodations on the partner sites?
Finding your own accommodation on the Reichweite+ partners can be challenging in some cases. Currently, we are working on providing you with a direct link to your accommodations on the partner sites. In the meantime, the following tips may be helpful:

To find your accommodation on one of the partner sites, it is a good idea to search for the property name posted on Travanto by entering it in the search. Alternatively, many partners also offer a search via a map. This way you can find your accommodation by its location.

However, it is not possible to search for accommodation by Travanto's object numbers on the partner pages, as all Reach+ partners assign their own object numbers.
There are 2 commissions mentioned in the invoice. Do I pay twice?
No. You will only be charged the agreed commission (when using online booking Reichweite+ usually 10% net, only online booking on Travanto usually 12% net).

If you use Reichweite+, a service fee (approx. 14 %) will be added to all your rental prices, which is borne by the guest by booking at a higher booking price. Of course, we only charge the commission on the price minus the service fee, the so-called commissionable tour price.

You will always find a detailed list in the commission statement for the respective booking, which is stored in your booking overview.
